Volt Yukon Step Through
The Volt Yukon Step Through is a stable e-bike on wide tires, easy to mount and ideal for riders who want extra grip and cushioning on the Legacy Trail and around the Bow Valley. Its front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, and 500W motor make it smooth, planted and easy to control.
Rental includes: Helmet, bike lock, storage bag and free customer parking.
Child add-ons: A Thule Yepp 2 child seat or a child bike trailer can be added to this rental. The storage bag isn’t available when the child seat is fitted.
Pickup and Return
- Pickup is available between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM
- The default pickup time is 1:00 PM and can be changed in the booking form
- All rentals must be returned by 6:00 PM

Cancellation Policy
- Severe weather: If severe weather or unsafe riding conditions affect your rental date, choose either a rental credit or a refund, less the 3% payment-processing fee.
- Within 24 hours of pickup: A full refund of the rental charge may be provided for a medical or other serious emergency. All refunds are less the 3% payment-processing fee.
- More than 24 hours before pickup: Choose either a rental credit or a refund, less the 3% payment-processing fee.
- How to cancel: Cancellation requests must be emailed to hello@canmoreebikerentals.ca.
Volt Bravo
The Volt Bravo is a comfortable, larger e-bike that suits taller riders exploring the Legacy Trail between Canmore and Banff and the wider Bow Valley. Its crossbar frame, front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and 500W motor make it smooth, stable and confident.
Rental includes: Helmet, bike lock, storage bag and free customer parking.
Child add-ons: A Thule Yepp 2 child seat or a child bike trailer can be added to this rental. The storage bag isn’t available when the child seat is fitted.

Volt Elegant Step Through
The Volt Elegant Step Through is a comfortable e-bike that’s easy to mount and ideal for biking the Legacy Trail and Bow Valley area. Its upright riding position, front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and 500W motor make it smooth, stable and easy to control.
FITS ALMOST EVERYONE
This is our one size fits almost all bike, and it generally suits riders from 5’3″ to 6’6″.
Under 5’3″? We recommend booking the Volt Urban Step Through, though you can swap to an Elegant at pickup if you prefer.
Minimum age to ride: 12. This is set by Alberta law for all e-bikes and we can’t make exceptions, even with parental permission.

Volt Urban Step Through
The Volt Urban Step Through is our smallest e-bike, and we reserve it for riders under 5’4″. We only have two, so we hold them for shorter riders who don’t fit the rest of our fleet. Adjustable handlebars and seat size it down to around 4’1″, and the low frame makes it easy to get on and off.
Its 500W peak power motor, hydraulic disc brakes and lockout front suspension make it smooth and easy to control on the Legacy Trail and around the Bow Valley. The wheels are smaller than the rest of our fleet, so the steering is quicker. Stick to paved paths and smooth gravel, and give yourself a few minutes to get used to it before heading out.
NO CHILD SEAT OR TRAILER
The Volt Urban can’t be fitted with a child seat and can’t pull a child trailer.
If you’re riding with a child, choose the Volt Elegant Step Through, Volt Bravo or Volt Yukon Step Through instead.
